The Medical Device Safety Alert System, introduced in January 2005, is designed to safeguard the public from problematic medical devices through regular monitoring, follow-up and dissemination of medical device safety alerts/product recall messages. This seminar introduces the objectives, scope and mechanism of the system and explains the roles and responsibilities of different parties involved. |
