It has come to our attention that the United Kingdom Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) has issued an urgent Field Safety Notice regarding various bandages of the brand “Choice for Health”.

National Health Services (NHS) Supply Chain has been made aware by the manufacturer Tiger Medical Products that the seal integrity of the packaging on the primary sterile pouch on some of the above products may be compromised. Subsequent use may pose an increased risk of localized infection.

NHS Supply Chain suggests that UK users should quarantine the products and return the affected product to NHS Supply Chain for further investigation.
