The Medical Device Safety Alert System, introduced in January 2005, is designed to safeguard the public from problematic medical devices through regular monitoring, follow-up and dissemination of medical device safety alerts/product recall messages and the effective adverse incident reporting system. This seminar introduces the objectives, scope and mechanism of the system and explains the roles and responsibilities of different parties involved. |
